Future2 2023 grant recipient, @Yourtoolkit.com, is a remarkable cause, doing amazing things in the community. Yourtoolkit.com provides free web-based resources to help women who are escaping domestic violence. Currently, over 4,000 users visit the website weekly. An alarmingly high number given 46% of women facing abuse from a current partner never reach out for support and remain isolated behind closed doors.

The Future2 grant will fund a 'Return to Work' resource that will be added to the existing Yourtoolkit.com site. Research has found that a satisfying job is a critical factor towards recovery and the beginning of reconstructing identity. Employment also provides financial independence and the opportunity for a future away from domestic violence. A lack of economic security and financial resources are the primary reasons women return to an abusive relationship and Yourtoolkit.com are on a mission to change this.
